thread safety, re-entrance...

Hello,

javax.xml.xpath.XPathFactory, XPath, and XPathExpression are all NOT
thread-safe, and NOT re-entrant.

I was searching for an alternative because I want to process XML using
XPath from different concurrent threads.

Is using Apache's XALAN thread-safe and re-entrant ?

Please advise,
